The Story

Beginning life as the Boston Breakers, the franchise was moved to New Orleans for the 1984 season due to an unsuitable home stadium in Boston. With a fresh start and now playing home games at the Superdome (also home to the NFL's Saints), the Breakers got off to a hot 5-0 start but ultimately finished the season a disappointing 8-10.

The team was moved once again ahead of the 1985 season, this time to Portland, after the league announced it was moving to a fall schedule - a move that would certainly doom a franchise in New Orleans who would have to compete with the NFL's Saints.

Crafted with the intention of being the softest shirt in your lineup, our signature tees are made with premium airlume (for softness) and ringspun (for durability) cotton combined with poly to make the perfect tee👌 that wears and feels like a well-worn favorite. Our garments are printed with inks that actually blend into the fabric giving it more character and true vintage look with every wash.
