1974 Los Angeles Aztecs Tee

The Story

The Los Angeles Aztecs played at Weingart Stadium from 1974 to 1981 before eventually folding eventually folding in 1981. Even though the Los Angeles Aztecs won the NASL Western season in 1974, it wasn't enough to keep the orange and white in Los Angeles. With players like Bob Rigby & Phil Beal donning the orange and white in Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Aztecs should have been able to fill seats. The reality however was much different and with low attendance, the Los Angeles Aztecs soon folded and became no more.
