The Story

With players like Rick Barry & Warren Armstrong gracing the court for the Washington, D.C. it's a shame they didn't make it to the big show. Washington Caps played in Washington Coliseum from 1969 to 1970 before eventually folding and moving operations to Norfolk in 1970 to become the Virginia Squires. When the ABA and NBA merged in 1976 the glory of the Washington Caps was retired to the rafters of Basketballs past glory.

Our t-shirts are made sustainably from 100% combed & ringspun cotton and printed with eco-friendly, water-based ink that blends into the fabric with each wash, giving it a softer feel and more character as time goes on.
