The Detroit Cougars played at Tiger Stadium from 1967 to 1968 before eventually folding in 1968. Even though the Detroit Cougars were a strong team in the 1967 season, it wasn't enough to keep the white and gold in Detroit. With players like Sammy Kydd & Tommy Jackson donning the white and gold in Detroit, the Detroit Cougars should have been able to fill seats. The reality however was much different and with low attendance, the Detroit Cougars soon folded and became no more.
