The Story

The Kentucky Colonels were a member of the ABA for the league's total nine seasons. Despite having the league's all-time best winning percentage (winning the ABA championship in 1975) and one of the league's best fan bases, the Colonels were not one of the teams chosen to join the NBA and they were forced to fold in 1976.
