The dream child of famous Chicago stock broker Lee Stern, The Chicago Sting played their first season in the North American Soccer League, the first major pro soccer league in the U.S., in 1975. The Sting seemed to improve each season until, in 1981, they won the NASL Championship, bringing the Windy City their first professional sports championship since the '63 Bears.

However the good times did not last, and the team dissolved after the 1987-88 season citing financial difficulties.

Our vintage-inspired grey heather tees are made sustainably from a soft blend of premium cotton, polyester, and rayon and printed with eco-friendly, water-based ink that blends into the fabric with each wash, giving it a softer feel and more character as time goes on.
