The Story
The Minnesota Strikers played at Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome from 1984 to 1988 before eventually folding in 1988. Even though the Minnesota Strikers were a strong team in the 1988 season, it wasn't enough to keep the red and gold in Minnesota. With players like Craig Scarpelli & Ray Hudson donning the red and gold in Minnesota, the Minnesota Strikers should have been able to fill seats. The reality however was much different and with low attendance, the Minnesota Strikers soon folded and became no more.
