1984 San Antonio Gunslingers Tee
The Story
San Antonio entered the USFL as an expansion team for the 1984 season. The Gunslingers were doomed from the start: they played at a glorified high school stadium and were under-capitalized. Their moderately successful 1984 season turned to disaster in 1985, as players and coaches were frequently not paid and attendance crashed to a league low.
